Hello Frédéric Caroff, can you tell us about yourself?
I’m an engineer, trained at the Ecole Centrale Paris. I worked for 10 years in the industry sector as a manufacturing manager and scale up manager. I then pursued a Master of business at Essec after quitting the industry in order to manage a startup. In 2011, I founded LPS-BioSciences with 3 other scientists and I have been its CEO and Brand Developer ever since.
What is your lab’s mission?
Our lab is specialized in endotoxin issues and our goal is to make endotoxins accessible to the health industry.
What services does your lab offer?
We provide production of lipopolysaccharides (LPS) and polysaccharides (PS), analysis, quantification of endotoxins and removal of endotoxins. Our fields of application include the vaccine industry, in vitro diagnostics, cosmetics, and medical devices.
What sets your expertise apart from others?
We have 40 years of experience in structures related to biological activities.
What challenges are you willing to address in the near future?
We are working towards transferring our methods to the health and pharmaceutical industries.
